Adj Associate Professor Charles Tsang graduated from medical school at the National University of Singapore in 1987, obtained his Fellowship Diploma in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1993.

Colorectal Clinic Associates brings together five General and Colorectal surgeons Dr Charles Tsang, Dr Dean Koh, Dr Victor Keng, Dr Mark Wong and Dr. Cheryl Lau, who have a combined experience of up to 75 years’ practice in colorectal surgery and were formerly integral staff in the Nation’s two Academic Medical Centres located in Singhealth and the National University Health System / Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
The group provides a full subspecialty service in colorectal surgery spanning all aspects of proctology, colon and rectal surgery including the latest in laparoscopic and robotic techniques, advanced gastrointestinal tract endoscopy, anal physiological assessment and endoluminal ultrasonography of the lower gastrointestinal tract.
Drs Tsang and Koh had completed their advanced training in ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) colorectal residency programmes as part of their subspecialty training in the United States. Dr Keng received his colorectal training at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. Dr Wong received his advanced colorectal training in France and Denmark and Dr Lau completed her advanced surgical training from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in United States.
Having practiced in an academic colorectal unit, they provide cost effective, cutting edge surgery with published outcomes and are commited to ensuring quality surgical care with good outcomes.

Adj Associate Professor Dean Koh graduated from the medical school at the National University of Singapore and obtained his fellowship diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1999.
Adj Asst Prof Mark Wong is a general surgeon with special interest in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) and robotic surgery for both cancer and benign bowel disorders.
Adj Asst Prof Cheryl Lau graduated from medical school at the National University of Singapore and obtained her fellowship diploma from the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She completed her advanced surgical training in National University Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Dr Keng graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and started his basic surgical training in General Surgery in 1992 after finishing his national service. In 1995, he completed his Fellowship examinations from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
